American Express Travel Related Services seeks Release Train Engineers (20001017) to deliver large-scale, innovative technology solutions in a SAFe-Agile environment. Track iteration progress and contribute to software design discussions. Ensure compliance with software development lifecycle principles and requirements. Engage with Product Owner, Product Manager, Business Stakeholders, and delivery teams to understand business needs and resolve issues. Organize and facilitate scrum-of-scrums and retrospectives at the end of each sprint. Maintain dependency plan between planned sprints across engineering and infrastructure teams. Organize and devise program increment planning events to identify, define, and deliver features to produce clear product increment according to business needs. Position requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field, followed by 5 years of progressively responsible experience with technical delivery and IT project management.

Experience must include a minimum of: 1 year of experience with Agile programs; 1 year of experience with Agile and Scrum project management, including monitoring project budgets, reporting, and ensuring compliance with SDLC protocols; 1 year of experience with CA Rally Project Planning tool; 1 year of experience with managing and tracking technology budget with the CA Clarity tool; 1 year of experience with software design, development, testing, and implementation; 1 year of experience with delivering industry leading solutions to market; 1 year of experience with technical solution analysis, design, and execution; 1 year of experience with analysis and research on current business trends and advanced technologies; and 1 year of experience with data structures, HTML, Java, object-oriented design and coding across a variety of platforms, Waterfall, Web Services, and XML.
