$77,279-$98,871. Full-Time with benefits. Coordinate, supervise and direct purchasing and warehouse operations.
Qualifications:
Education/Experience: Four (4) years of progressively more responsible experience in a purchasing office including two years at a supervisory level. A baccalaureate degree in business administration or public administration with an emphasis in government procurement or closely related field. Any combination of education or experience which would provide the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities may be qualifying.
Knowledge/Ability: The successful candidate will have the knowledge of principles and procedures used in governmental purchasing. The candidate must also have the ability to plan and schedule buying; interpret market prices and trends; prepare specifications and review and analyze bids.
Other: A valid California driver’s license and insurability by the district’s auto insurance carrier must be maintained at all times during employment with the district. Must successfully pass a drug screening by a physician of the district’s choice prior to employment.
