Confidential Administrative Assistant

Bensalem Township has an immediate opening for an experienced Administrative Assistant. This is a non-union, confidential administrative position, entrusted with supporting the two highest officials in the Township, the Mayor and Director of Administration. Daily responsibilities will require support for the administrative staff, performing clerical & administrative work and responding to inquiries from residents. Must be able to work independently, be organized and clearly communicate with personnel and be a team player in a fast-paced environment. Township residency is required. Applicant must possess a High school Diploma/ GED & have at least 2 years experience in business/municipal Administration or a combination of education & experience that would prove to be beneficial for the job. College credits are a plus. Candidate must be proficient in Excel & Word. Proof of full vaccination against COVID-19, as provided by the CDC is required.
