Information Technology Technician
CC Communications in Fallon, NV (telecommunications/boardband) seeks an IT Technician to provide technical maintenance and support for internal and external customers. Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems associated with system hardware and software. An application and resume must be completed. Position open until filled. Salary depends on Certifications, qualifications and experience.
Applications are invited for the full-time position of a CC Communications Information Technology Technician. The level of I, II or III would be determined by certifications, qualifications and experience. Working in the IT Department an IT Technician III is responsible for providing technical software, hardware, network and system problem solutions to all users in a professional and timely manner. Designing, analyzing, developing, testing, implementing and maintaining applications systems and programs using a variety of approaches are primary duties. This position also handles escalations and high priority problems to resolution. Works with vendors and maintenance providers to service and maintain various systems. Must be selfstarter and have the ability to work with 90% autonomy and show a willingness to learn new skills.
Duties include but are not limited to: Provide call in phone support service on all customer equipment and applications. Provide helpdesk and on-site support to all customers. Assist in maintaining 24/7 automated alarm alert systems. Prepares and analyzes statistics on network utilization and availability. Monitor all backup schedules and perform routine data audits. Firewall,
VPN, Data services and bandwidth report generation. Attend training to maintain or obtain certifications. The following qualifications are those for an IT Technician III.
