The City of Perham (population 3,392), is seeking qualified applicants who are detail oriented, have an ambition to learn, and enjoy taking initiative.

This full-time Administrative Assistant position primarily works with the Economic Development and Housing and Redevelopment Authorities, planning and zoning. This position is 40 hours per week with regularly scheduled hours from 7:30 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Thursday and 8:00 am to Noon on Friday. 2021 salary range is $17.95 - $23.34 per hour plus excellent benefits.

Candidates must possess a minimum of two years of post-secondary education/ training plus two or more years of experience in a similar administrative assistant position or equivalent combination of training and experience to qualify for this position. Desired qualifications include property management, affordable housing programs, accounting, or planning and zoning. Must have a valid Minnesota driver's license as travel is sometimes required.
