Director of Corporate Strategies and Solutions

The individual in this position oversees all activities of the Corporate Strategies & Solutions department, including development and implementation of the FHLBank’s policies and practices for all areas of functional responsibility. These responsibilities include but are not limited to: (1) planning and directing the FHLBank’s long-term strategic planning process; and (2) development and implementation of organizational strategies and strategic solutions to achieve FHLBank’s goals, strategic objectives and demonstrate the value of FHLBank’s products and services. 


  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics or related field. Certified Financial Analyst certificate or advanced degree is required.
  • Eight to ten years of similar or related experience, with an emphasis in the financial industry (i.e., experience in managing interest rate risk, asset-liability, investments and/or liquidity).
  • Must have strong research and analytical skills and the ability to think creatively.
  • Demonstrated presentation and communication skills plus the ability to present non-conventional ideas in an understandable and trusting manner.
  • Knowledge and proficient use of MS Office applications including Word and Excel.
  • Ability to work and travel independently.
