Coordinator of Diversity Initiatives
Keystone Symposia on Molecular and Cellular Biology is currently seeking a Coordinator of Diversity Initiatives. This is a year-round, full time position with an excellent benefits package.
Responsibilities include the supporting and enhancing of diversity within the biomedical science workforce by increasing:
• Participation of diverse groups, particularly of URs and women, within our conferences. This includes increased participation of these groups within the speaker portfolio and career roundtable workshop panel.
• Support for programs and initiatives, outside our conferences, that engage underrepresented communities. This includes maintaining and expanding the Fellows Program to include both early career investigators and postdocs.
• External funding to support scholarship travel awards and diversity program initiatives through partnerships with foundations, corporations and individuals.
The successful candidate will have excellent communications and interpersonal skills, and demonstrated experience with enhancing diversity, team-building, networking and project management.
A Bachelor's or Master's degree and at least 3-5 years related experience are required.
The salary range is $60,000 to $75,000 per year.
