This individual will efficiently coordinate and schedule service technicians' time, while maintaining the invoicing of repair orders in a timely manner. In conjunction with this, they will communicate with the customer in regard to quotes, job status, and scheduling. They will also coordinate activities and cooperate with other departments of the dealership to best serve the needs of the customer and employees.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Greeting customers in a timely, friendly manner to obtain vehicle information
- Writing up customer's vehicle problems accurately and clearly on repair order
- Inspecting vehicle, recommending additional needed service
- Advising customer on the care of vehicles and the value of maintaining their vehicles in accordance with manufacturer's specifications
- Providing a complete and accurate written cost estimate for labor and parts
- Continuous follow-up on progress of repair order regarding any changes in the estimate or promise time
- Explaining to the customer cost and time requirements in detail, and acquiring the proper authorization before additional repairs are performed
- Closing the repair order as appropriate making sure it is in correct order for accounting purposes
- Making sure that vehicles are parked in assigned areas, and keys are marked correctly
- Maintaining high customer satisfaction standards
- Handling telephone inquiries regarding appointments and status updates for work in progress
- Maintaining a professional appearance and keeping work area clean
- Performing other duties as required
