Summit County Sheriff's Office is recruiting a full-time Corrections Cook to join our staff of professional deputies and civilians as we strive to serve every member of our community with professionalism and integrity. Performs a variety of skilled duties related to overseeing and preparing meals for the inmates and County jail personnel.
Corrections Cook I
Minimum Qualifications: Graduation from high school and one year of experience in institutional, restaurant or related food service experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Must possess a valid driver's license, a food handler's permit, and obtain a HACCP Safe Serve National Restaurant Certification within three months of hire date.
Salary Range: $18.02 - $25.25/hour.
Corrections Cook II
Minimum Qualifications: Graduation from high school and three years of experience in institutional, restaurant, or related food service experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Must possess a valid driver's license, a food handler's permit, and obtain a HACCP Safe Serve National Restaurant Certification within three months of hire date.
Salary Range: $19.11 - $26.75/hour.
