Administrative Assistant
Summary: This position is responsible for the direct communication between the general public, county agencies and staff.
Responsibilities:
- Answers incoming calls, determines needs and directs to appropriate resource.
- Has working knowledge of county/township agencies as potential sources of information.
- Provides clerical support for Administrator and Director of Public Works.
- Handles park reservations
- Schedules field assignments
Qualifications:
- High School graduate (or equivalent)
- Well organized and detailed oriented
- Prior knowledge of township government
- Knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office applications
- Strong communication skills
- Able to work well independently and on a team
Hours and compensation:
- 8am – 4:30pm, Monday through Friday
- DOQ
