TOWN OF LAKE PARK
Under the general supervision of the Finance Director, this position is responsible for a wide variety of administrative and clerical duties, including greeting and directing all visitors to Town Hall and answering and directing all incoming telephone calls pursuant to departmental requirements. Responsible for greeting and directing visitors to Town Hall, answering and directing all incoming telephone calls pursuant to departmental requirements, and providing information and assistance to other departmental personnel and Town customers. Processes customer payments and properly updates customer information. Assists in investigating, resolving and addressing customer concerns and complaints and advising the department director on quality control matters. Sorts and distributes mail and handles material procurement requirements, to include supply and uniform orders. Assists other departmental staff as needed.
Associate’s Degree from an accredited college or university preferred and/or a minimum of two (2) years of related administrative experience required. A combination of relevant training and experience can be substituted for the degree. Bilingual Spanish and Haitian Creole preferred but not required.
Pay range: $18.91 to $30.25 per hour. Starting rate dependent upon qualifications. Excellent benefits.
