Dispatcher - Full Time
The Traill County Sheriff's Department has an immediate opening for two full-time dispatchers: 40 hours per week, must be able to work rotating shifts, nights, weekends, and holidays. Salary depends on experience but is not required. Training will be provided.
Primary duties will include but are not limited to answering administrative and 911 calls, dispatching emergency responders, and completing required documentation of all activities. Applicants must possess excellent communication and people skills and must be able to multitask and independently deal with multiple situations. Must have good computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel would be helpful. All E911 dispatchers will be required to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol testing and will be subjected to random drug and alcohol testing.
