Web Software Developer at the University of Utah's Faculty Information & Support in SLC.
Requires Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or related field plus 2 years experience as a software engineer or software developer utilizing PHP, Zend, JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, CSS, LESS, source-code control systems; Java and Spring Framework with experience debugging Front End components using SCSS, LESS and Bootstrap; writing SQL (Oracle preferred) including DDL and DML and optimizing SQL queries; and producing and consuming Web Services using SOAP and REST protocols. The Web Software Developer in the University Faculty Information & Support plays a primary role in developing and supporting PHP web-based tools utilized by faculty, department and college administrators and University leadership. Participates in the design, development, implementation, testing, deployment, and support of software applications and tools in an Agile/SCRUM environment. Develops, tests deploys and supports web-based application systems for written and verbal instruction.
