Research Associate / Neurophysiologist Research Scientist at the University of Utah's Moran Eye Center in SLC: Requires a Masters degree in Biomedical Engineering, Neuroscience or a related field. At least 36 months of research experience in behavioral studies and neural investigations of visual perception and visual attention using animal models and with expertise of analyzing large scale datasets and its analytical methods and challenges; at least 36 months experience with animal electrophysiology particularly nonhuman primates; expertise in computational neuroscience as demonstrated by at least two peer-reviewed publications; and 36 months experience in statistical and signal processing, linear algebra and time-frequency analysis. The experience requirements can be satisfied through employment, training or an academic program. Research Associate / Neurophysiologist Research Scientist will perform a variety of tasks in a highly collaborative environment; handle nonhuman primates; execute electrophysiological and behavioral experiments; develop computational algorithms, data analysis and statistical analysis; disseminate scientific findings in the form of journal publications and conference presentations.
