The Dale Bumpers College of Agricultural, Food and Life Sciences is seeking two Regional Recruiters, one to serve the southeast region and the other to serve the northeast region of Arkansas.

Summary of Job Duties

The Regional Recruiter will act as a liaison between prospective students in northeast Arkansas or southeast Arkansas and the Bumpers College recruitment. As the Bumpers College Southeast/Northeast Arkansas Recruiter, the individual will be expected to schedule informational visits with area high schools, attend local college/career fairs, and collect prospective student information from the Southeast/Northeast portion of Arkansas. The Regional Recruiter will build and maintain relationships with local high school counselors, agriculture teachers, science teachers, 4-H agents, and other members of the community. This position is ideal for someone with a flexible schedule. High school visits will begin in August, 2019.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution of higher education
• Applicants need to be a resident of an eastern Arkansas county
• Have established relationships and connections with local community leaders in and around assigned recruiting area
• Knowledge of the Dale Bumpers College of Agricultural, Food and Life Sciences, as well as the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville
